At the beginning of 2003 the hotel cooperation was founded with the aim of being a cooperation between hoteliers for hoteliers. In July 2003 the first hotel guide appeared and the internet portal was opened. The partners of TIPTOP Hotels Hotelkooperation GmbH are all independent hoteliers with their own businesses. This ensures that the decisions are practical. In 2019, the cooperation was taken over by TipTop-Hotels GmbH, based in Bad Säckingen, and set up with new service packages.
